What OpticBench is
OpticBench is a study aid for optical mathematics aimed at opticianry students. It is not a prescription, a medical device, a fabrication order, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for licensed professional judgment, verified measurements, or the standards in force where you practice.
Accuracy
Formulas and tolerance values are presented as commonly published in training materials and are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. Standards are revised; verify the edition in force before applying any figure to real work. Use of the site is at your own risk, and liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Purchases
If paid plans are offered, billing is handled by RevenueCat and Stripe under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled anytime from the link in your receipt email; lifetime is a one-time payment. See Premium and Privacy for details.
Refunds
Not happy with a purchase? Email [email protected] within 14 days of a first purchase, or within 7 days of a renewal, and we will refund it. Send the message from the email address you used at checkout, and include:
- the email address used at checkout (if you are writing from a different address)
- your access code, shown on the Premium page while you are signed in on the browser you purchased from
- roughly when you purchased, and which plan (weekly, yearly or lifetime)
- the last 4 digits of the card, if you have the receipt handy
That is everything needed to find the purchase and process the refund. This policy does not limit any statutory rights you may have.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the service. Content on the site may not be scraped for resale as a competing database.
